November Artists of the Month (Week 4) : Lady GaGa & Rihanna

As you guys know, I chose Amerie as the artist of the month of November mainly due to the lack of promotion from her label. I also told you guys that I might make a banner for Lady GaGa and Rihanna during their album release week, which is on November 23rd. Well that's exactly what I did. They may not need much promotion, but I like their music a lot so that's why I made the decision. The other reason wis because... well, I just felt like making another banner. Don't get me wrong, I do like Ameire as well. I actually put her banner up in late October anyway so it's almost been a month. Just as I did with Keri and BoA back in March, I will be switching between the two banners.

Jay Sean - All Or Nothing (US Version) [Retail]

British singer, Jay Sean, will be releasing his 3rd studio album, All Or Nothing, later this month. Although his 3rd album, this will be his 1st album released in the US, marking his debut. The 1st single, "Down" featuring Lil Wayne, has become a hit, peaking at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #3 in the UK. This made him the most successful male UK artist in the US since Elton John. I'll admit that I wasn't a big fan of the song and I still don't see how it became #1 hit, but it's a little catchy so I can see why some people like it. The 2nd single, "Do You Remember" featuring Sean Paul and Lil Jon is already climbing up the charts, peaking at #27 so far on the Billboard Hot 100. Although he may be on his way to having his 2nd American hit, I'm not sure if many people will be interested in buying his album, especially since it will be competing against quite a few anticipated albums next week. I hope he does well though and if you want to see that happen, make sure your buy your copy on November 23rd (US), 30th (UK)!!!

1. Do You
2. Fire

Jennifer Lopez - Louboutins

Jennifer Lopez is set to perform her new single, "Louboutins," this Sunday on the American Music Awards. The track will be the 1st single from her upcoming album, Love?, which is set to be released on January 26th (US), 25th (UK). I thought the song would be better, but it sounds a little weak. If she wants to make a good comeback, she better come back with something harder. I kind of like the chrous and it sounds a little better after a few listens, but it's still not that great. Maybe a good video will make it more interesting. Anyway, check it out.

Chris Brown - Graffiti (Deluxe Edition) [Album Sampler]

Chris Brown will be releasing his 3rd studio album, Graffiti, on December 8th. Here is the album sampler which includes a 3o second preview of each track from the deluxe version of the album. I never really like his albums as a whole, so I didn't expect much, but some tracks aren't too bad. You can tell that he's referring to his past love life with Rihanna on some of the tracks and she probably influenced some of the words he uses such as the phrase "pum pum shorts" on the tracks, "Brown Skin Girl." I'm sorry but I just had to laugh at that surprising line because I never thought I'd hear him say that. Anyway, check it out.

Tracklisting:

1. I Can Transform Ya (feat. Lil Wayne & Swizz Beatz)
2. Sing Like Me
3. Crawl
4. So Cold
5. What I Do (feat. Plies)

Yo Gotti - 5 Star (Remix) [feat. Gucci Mane, Trina & Nicki Minaj] [DVD Rip]

Here is the DVD Rip for Yo Gotti's new remix video for his latest single, "5 Star." The remix video features Gucci Mane, Trina, and Young Money rapper, Nicki Minaj. I remember when I first heard the original song a while back and I didn't like it much, but adding Trina and Nicki Minaj to a track can make it so much better. They both look their best in the video, although Nicki looks a little crazy on some parts. Anyway, enjoy!!!

Lady GaGa - The Fame Monster (8 Brand New Tracks)

Pop star Lady GaGa will be releasing her new album, The Fame Monster, later this month. There will be multiple versions of the album. The standard edition will include the 8 brand new tracks alone, while the 2-disc deluxe edition will include the 8 brand new tracks plus her debut album, The Fame. The collector’s edition super-deluxe art book version, will include both albums, fanzines, 3-D glasses, paper dolls, a puzzle, pictorials, a lock of Lady GaGa's hair and other surprises. The 1st single, "Bad Romance," has already become a hot, peaking in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. The video recently premiered so maybe that could give it a boost to #1. The 2nd single will be "Telephone," which features R&B diva, Beyoncé. Lady GaGa has said she wants to release about 4 singles from the album so hopefully that will happen. After listening to all the tracks, just like someone said in the comments, it seems as if we already got the better half of the songs already. I do think the other tracks are good though, most notably "Monster," but my favorite would probably be "Dance in the Dark." If you like the album and want to see her do well, make sure you support her and buy your copy on November 23rd or on December 15th if you want the collector’s edition super-deluxe version!

1. Bad Romance
2. Alejandro
3. Monster
4. Speechless
5. Dance In The Dark
6. Telephone (feat. Beyoncé)
7. So Happy I Could Die
8. Teeth

50 Cent - Baby By Me (feat. Ne-Yo) [DVD Rip]

Here is the DVD Rip for 50 Cent's new video, "Baby By Me." The video features Ne-Yo in a black background and Kelly Rowland makes a cameo appearance as his love interest. The song has so far peaked at #31 on the Billboard Hot 100. I didn't like this song that much at first, but it's actually not too bad. Although the hype for his music isn't as big as his debut, his new album, Before I Self Destruct, is doing pretty well and is expected to pull in good numbers after it's physical release. I'm not too interested in this video, but my girl Kelly is looking good so that's nice to see. Enjoy!!!

Rihanna - Rated R [Retail]

Now the wait is really ova! As I've said before, Rihanna will be releasing her 4th studio album, Rated R, later this month. The album includes productions by many of the top producers and writers such as, StarGate, Chase & Status, Justin Timberlake, The-Dream, Tricky Stewart, and of course, Ne-Yo, who wrote the 1st single, "Russian Roulette." The dark song has already cracked the top 10 on the charts and with the video premiering today, I'm sure it will rise even higher. Rihanna has been wasting no time with releasing singles though. The promotional single, "Wait Your Turn" has already been released as well as the video. The 2nd single, "Hard" featuring Young Jeezy, was produced by The-Dream and Tricky Stewart. The song has already been receiving radio play and is destined to be a hit. Like I said, it's easy to see how "Russian Roulette" fits well with the album so it might make you enjoy the track more. It's also obvious she is referring to her past love life (Chris Brown) in certain tracks such as "Stupid In Love" and "Cold Case Love." While I think she shouldn't have brought that into so much of her music, it's natural to want to talk about something that has had a big impact in you life, whether it's good or bad. After listening to the whole album, I can't help but to like it, but I still have to get used to a few songs. It's not as good as Good Girl Gone Bad, but there is such a different vibe, you can't really compare the two. Rihanna always seems to change so we should never expect the same thing from her. Like i said before though glad she's back because I'm a big fan and hopefully we get some good bonus tracks. Also I' sure we will get a re-release down the road so no worries :) If you like the album or are a fan, make sure you support her and buy your copy on November 23rd (US), 22nd (UK)!!!

1. Mad House
2. Wait Your Turn
3. Hard (feat. Jeezy)
