I didn't want to post this until I had an official conformation that this was the final version, but it is. Ciara was supposed to be featured on the track, but Ester Dean provides background vocals instead. I'm kinda disappointed because I wanted to hear her on the track, but oh well. The song has grown on my since the past few days and I think it would be a mess without Jay-Z. Check it out if you haven't already, as well as the album cover for the deluxe version of Raymond v. The cover could've been better and I don't understand why "There Goes My Baby" is on there. I'm hoping this version of "Sombody to Love" will have more of Usher's vocals than Justin Bieber's. The song I'm curious to hear is "Hot Toddy" though, which is the 2nd single and will impact radio stations on August 9th. The EP and the deluxe version of Raymond v. Raymond will be in stores on August 24th!

Christina Aguilera recently released her 2nd single, "You Lost Me," from her latest album, Bionic. Here is the remix promo cd which includes remixes by Hex Hector/Mac Quale. This song is growing on me day by day and I hope it does well, but I wouldn't count on it. She added some new vocals to the remixes so make sure you check them out.

This version will be used in some international countries, and I'm assuming this will probably be used for the digital copies of the album as well. The blue highlight around the Teenage Dream text wasn't necessary, but I still like it. I don't care how creative you wanna be, I personally prefer some sort of title on album covers. Jay Sean's new single, "2012" recently surfaced on the internet, but now we have the official version which features this year's feature queen, Nicki Minaj. It has a nice beat and the song is okay. Shontelle - No Gravity [Official Album Cover]

I think I'd like the picture more as a single cover, but I guess it's a nice cover. I'm just glad things are going well for her. The 1st single, "Impossible" has peaked at #13 on the Hot 100, and is set to be released in the UK next month. She is currently deciding what her next single should be between "No Gravity" and "Say Hello To Goodbye." I personally wouldn't choose either of them, but maybe they'll grow on me. Christina Aguilera - You Lost Me [Music Video Premiere]

Not bad. I think the song should do a decent job the charts, but it'll probably flop. The Bionic era has just been a mess, but hopefully this will save it. I'm ready for her to get rid of that lip stick though (not that it looks bad on her). It seems like she's been wearing it for 5 years straight.

T.I. - Got Your Back (feat. Keri Hilson) [Music Video Premiere]

I actually kinda liked it, and Keri looked good, even with all the extra unnecessary head bobbling. I had to LOL at his fiance randomly coming from behind him though at the end (she always does too much when she's posing). I think the video made me like the song a little more, although he will never make another collaboration as good as "Live Your Life."

Eminem & Rihanna - On the Set of "Love The Way You Lie"

Last night, Eminem and Rihanna shot the video for his 2nd single, "Love The Way You Lie." The video was shot in LA and is directed by Joseph Kahn. The song will be #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, which will be 4th #1 and Rihanna's 7th. This keeps her in the lead with the most #1's of the new millennium by any female artist.

The album cover was handpainted by Will Cotton. I like the cover, although I'd prefer it to not look like a "California Gurls" outtake. Of course I'd also prefer her name and a title to be on it, but no-text covers seems to be becoming a trend. Katy will reveal the offical tracklist on Friday. Although this song has kinda grown on me, I still find it to be cheesy and the autotune annoys me. I can't believe it's doing so well, but congrats to her. As for the video, I didn't like the story, but she looked good and I like the Japanese theme she's going for on her album.

Trey Songz - Bottoms Up (feat. Nicki Minaj)

R&B singer, Trey Songz will be releasing his 4th studio album, Passion Pain & Pleasure, on September 14th. Here is is the 1st single called, "Bottoms Up" which features Nicki Minaj. The song is catchy, but I don't like it that much and Nicki sounds even more annoying than usual. Maybe it'll grow on me since I like the beat, but we'll see. Check it out.

Taio Cruz - Dynamite (The Remixes)

Taio Cruz's new US single, "Dynamite" has become another hit for him, already peaking at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is expected to chart even higher next week. Although I was never a fan of "Break Your Heart," I like this song so I'm glad it's doing well. Usher will be releasing an 8 track EP titled, Versus on August 24th! On the same day, he'll also be releasing a deluxe version of his certified platinum album, Raymond v. Raymond, which will include all tracks from EP and the standard album. Here is the 1st single from the re-release called, "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" featuring Pitbull. It's a nice uptempo track, but of course Pitbull ruined it for me (as usual). I'm hoping the label will do what they did with Plies, and not include Pitbull's verse on the album because I really can't stand his raps. Check it out though.

As I said yesterday, Teairra Marí will be releasing an EP titled, Sincerely Yours on August 17th. Today she released her new single called, "Body," which will be on the upcoming EP. The song is a little catchy, but I don't like it that much. Maybe it's a good thing that she's recording new tracks for her LP because I don't want a bunch of old tracks on there anyway. So that probably means we'll be getting another "1st single" when she's ready to release At That Point. Anyway, check this song out.

I guess this is the track Ciara was talking about when she said, "get ready to dance off the freakin' roof." Here is a new song called, "Gimme Dat." The very uptempo just premiered today and is set to be the 2nd single from her upcoming album, Basic Instinct. I like the track and I hope it does well for her, but we'll see. I know the video will be fire so there are probably no worries there. I'm just glad she didn't wait forever to release it, since the album will be out on August 17. Check it out.

Teairra Marí - Body [Official Single Cover] + Album News

Due to many of the her album tracks leaking, Teairra has decided to push back the album once again, to work on new tracks. To please her fans that are waiting patiently, she will be releasing an EP on August 17th titled, Sincerely Yours. The EP will include 7 tracks, one which will be her moderate urban hit single, "Sponsor." Instead of releasing "Automatik" as her next single, she recently announced that a track called, "Coinz" would be the next single. Plans have since changed and the next single will be a track called, "Body," which is the artwork you see above.

Although she hasn't gotten that big hit that she needs, I have lots of respect for Teairra's hustle. She's released a mixtape (and other is coming out soon), she's done many viral videos, promoted her singles at clubs, she's in a new movie that's coming out, and many other things. Hard work usually pays off and she's only 22, she still has lots of time. Hopefully she doesn't disappoint with this next single.

M.I.A. - /\/\ /\ Y /\ (Deluxe Edition) [Retail]

Electronic artist, M.I.A. will be releasing her 3rd studio album, /\/\ /\ Y /\ next week. After the success of her hit single, "Paper Planes," some may have though she'd take a more mainstream route for this album, but she stuck to what she does best and delivered even more crazy beats than her previous effort, Kala. If it was possible to get seizures through the ear, then everyone who listens to this album would be suffering brain injuries. Although I was a bit disappointed when I heard the 1st single, "XXXO," I have to say, this is album is pretty good for the most part. There are a few songs that sound a little "blah," it's a good album overall. Those who aren't really used to her music might not like it that much, but I think her hardcore fans will enjoy it. If you like the album, make sure you buy your copy on July 13th!!!
